The Raetihi Rambler is a fun, inclusive 5km run or walk through the streets of Raetihi. Whether youβre chasing a time, walking with friends, or dressing up as a team, this event is all about community, energy, and enjoying the day.
β° Key Event Timings & Check-In
All athletes must complete registration prior to the event.

Timing chip
Race bib - pin this to the front of your running top.
π₯ Your famous Raetihi Gutbuster vege bag (fuel for the journey!)
π Start & Finish β Raetihi Event Hub
Start and finish at the Waimarino Museum Event Hub.
π Please:
Allow time to register, collect your gear, and get organised
Be at the start line at least 10β15 minutes before the start.

Water and refreshments
Food stalls
Medical support
Medals and Prizegiving at 1.00pm

π Course Overview
The Raetihi Rambler is a 5km loop through Raetihi, taking in local streets and community spaces.
Expect:
A flat to gently rolling course, with one small off-road section
A mix of runners, walkers, families, and teams
A fun, social atmosphere

This is a participation-focused event — all ages and abilities are welcome.
π·οΈ Athlete Identification & Timing
All Raetihi Gutbuster riders will be issued with:
Timing Chip β used to record your official start and finish time (this will already be attached to the back of your bib and does not need to be returned)
Run Bib β attach to your front.
π Please ensure:
Your number is clearly visible at all times
You wear your assigned timing chip for the duration of the event
This helps our team with timing, safety, and identification on course.

Roads are not fully closed
Please follow all road rules and marshal instructions
